Trees for Life is a charity dedicated to the reforesting and natural rewilding of the Scottish Highlands. Volunteers can spend a week off-grid at their remote bothy in the stunningly beautiful Glen Affric. It's basic living with communual cooking, shared rooms, and the only shower a dip in the freezing 'burn' (a Scottish term for stream). But it's also a welcome chance to reconnect with nature and find some headspace, whilst making a small difference to the recovering landscape.
